FAQs

  • Already have a therapist in mind or unsure who to choose? Give us a call at (630) 246-2840 or email us at officemanagerecc@embracecounselingcenter.com and we’ll get you connected with a therapist that best fits your needs.

  • We see individuals ages 6+. Common concerns include ADD/ADHD, anxiety, depression, grief, trauma/PTSD, life stressors and transitions. Not listed? Check out our services page or ask us—our team covers a broad range of specialties.

  • We work exclusively virtual via secure, HIPAA-compliant video sessions. Giving you flexibility to access virtual counseling from the comfort of your home.

  • We’re in-network with Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Evernorth/Cigna (in process), and Optum/UnitedHealthcare. If your insurance is not listed, we’ll provide a superbill so you can request out-of-network reimbursement. If you’re unsure what is covered, feel free to give us a call us at (630) 246-2840 and we’ll verify benefits for you.

Another thing to note — private-pay is always an option. There are a lot of benefits to not using insurance! Here are a few:

    • Greater Privacy & Confidentiality
Your sessions and progress stay fully between you and your therapist. No reports or records are shared with insurance companies.

    • No Diagnosis Required
You can seek support for whatever is most important to you—whether that’s personal growth, relationships, stress, or life transitions—without needing a mental health label.

    • Freedom & Flexibility
You and your therapist decide how often to meet, how long to continue, and what your care looks like—without outside restrictions.

    • Choose the Best Fit for You
You aren’t limited to providers who are “in-network.” This allows you to find the therapist who truly feels like the right match for your needs and goals.

    • Focus on What Matters Most
Therapy can be fully centered on your healing, growth, and well-being—not on meeting insurance requirements.

If you have any further questions regarding this, please contact us.

  • Please connect with your therapist on rescheduling your appointment. We ask that you give 24 hours’ notice to your therapist for cancellations. Late cancellations or no-shows incur a $100 fee, which insurance does not cover.
