Meet Our Therapists

Sharon Kim
LCPC, EMDR

CLINICAL THERAPIST
Treating ages 6+

Hello and welcome! I’m Sharon, a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and EMDR Certified Therapist. My training and experience have allowed me to walk alongside children, adolescents, young adults, and adults in many different stages of life—from therapeutic day schools and inpatient addiction programs to supporting individuals through cross-cultural challenges, spiritual trauma, and major life transitions.

What I value most in this work is the opportunity to hear and honor each person’s unique story. I use a holistic, trauma-informed approach that honors the brain-body-spirit connection, integrating evidence-based and mindfulness-based practices such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Brainspotting (BSP), and Expressive modalities like Art and Play Therapy. I find that these approaches can open doors when words fall short, helping clients deepen their connection to themselves and uncover new layers of emotional awareness and self-understanding.

As your therapist, my commitment is to provide a safe and compassionate space where your story can be explored with care and respect. I believe therapy is not about rewriting who you are, but about rediscovering and embracing the strengths already within you. Together, we can explore the chapters surrounding your experiences, and shape a path that nurtures healing, growth, and meaningful change in your life story.
